Would you like to interview us or our clients as participants in your research? The staff at the Scalabrini Institute for Human Mobility in Africa and Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town value the interest shown by students, academics and other researchers who seek the assistance of our organisation/s to aid their studies/research projects. Please note that only high quality, novel and methodologically sound proposals will be considered. While we give preference to PhD and Master’s proposals, considerations will also be given to high quality honours proposals. Should you like to request our involvement in your research, please complete the form available at the link below as this assists us in processing requests and identifying the staff members and/ or in exceptional cases clients best suited to your research needs.
It is important to note that we are not able to grant all the research requests received but will review your application and let you know if your request has been approved or not. There is a panel of staff from the Scalabrini Institute for Human Mobility in Africa and the Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town that reviews interview/ research requests monthly, for your research request to be considered within the month of application, please submit by the second Friday of each month. Feedback will be provided by the last day of the same month. We ask that you please complete the form in full and submit it by clicking the send button at the bottom of the screen. No direct emails to staff will be accepted, our organisation will only correspond once a decision has been made on your request.
For the safety of our clients and staff members, please note that all interviews should be conducted at the Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town and all communication should be made through the organisation. Clients should be compensated for their travel.
